Sabra or Vegan silk known as “agave silk” - sabra - صبرا - cactus fruit - It is a traditional moroccan fabric made out of agave leafs, Agave is cactus that grows in arid region like the Sahara. The. weaving process is still done by hands and has been the same for centuries.

Processes of producing agave textiles are:

1. Hand spinning the threads of sabra.
